Affiliated Leagues

The Minnesota Soccer Association (MSA) is proud to be the official governing body for six affiliated adult leagues across the state. These partnerships ensure a consistent, governed, and structured soccer experience for thousands of players, from recreational to semi-professional levels.

Our affiliated leagues provide diverse playing opportunities based on geography, age, and competitive level:

We are committed to supporting organized soccer beyond the metro area:

The MSA also supports high-level competition and development:

  • MWSL Charity Tournament: For over a decade, this signature MWSL season-opener has brought the community together for a 7v7 tournament dedicated to supporting local charitable causes.
  • MASL Minnesota Cup: For over 50 years, this signature MASL tradition has brought the community together for a premier tournament open to any adult men’s team across the MASL.
  • MASL Wilson Cup: Named in honor of Minnesota Soccer Hall of Fame member Morgan Wilson, the Wilson Cup has brought the community together since 1996 for a premier tournament open to all adult men’s teams below the MASL 1st division.
  • Ancient Ranger Tournament: Embracing the spirit of legacy and competition, this tournament has been cornerstone of the MSSL and Minnesota soccer calendar for decades.
  • Minnesota Super Cup: A semi-professional tournament dedicated to high-level, Minnesota-based clubs seeking intense competitive play and advancement.
